In 2021, JND were appointed to produce a series of detailed planting plans and soft landscape specifications for a new holistic pool terrace and garden house in Winchester
The property is situated in the St-Giles Hill area of Winchester, which boasts great panoramic views across the city. The period property is well secluded by dense vegetation and was currently undergoing a modern renovation to create a new garden house, swimming pool and adaptable living and entertaining spaces.
The design narrative for the project focused on rhythm. Bold swathes of shrub and specimen grass planting creating a sense of rhythm and cohesion as they flowed through the planting beds. This helped to soften the design and provide a natural backdrop for the new garden house.
