In 2020, JND were approached to provide a planting design concept and accompanying planting plans for a rural property in Devon.
The property is situated deep within a National Park and is beautifully located within a rural, agricultural landscape. The client assigned JND a design task: to rejuvenate the existing planting borders within the garden and to naturalize the large stone retaining walls within the estate.
The concept design drew inspiration from the surrounding landscape and the naturalized species that can be found growing across the national park.
All planting species were sourced from a local plant nursery who specialise in the production of peat-free planting stock. JND is still providing post-completion consultancy input into this project as the garden continues to evolve and develop.
